Ferrets love play time! They’re basically awfully fun and easy to please. When playing with your ferrets, it is inevitable that you are going to need props or toys. Although you can get toys from the store, you can also make some of your own! Here are a few tips on how to make handmade toys.

have you got old film canisters at home? Fill it up with rice or sand ( just make sure you completely clean the canister ) and make your pet find it. When they place it in their secret spot or favourite hiding place, transfer it to another spot. You can put ferret treats inside too.

Ferrets love playing in tunnels! Get 2 boxes, confirm they are sufficiently big for your pet to creep in. Connect the boxes using tubes. PVC pipes will work just great. You can also use drier hoses or water bottles as tunnels. Have your ferret go in the box and have fun.

Another good idea with boxes is to form several’stations’ for your pet. You can do this by connecting several boxes with tubes and filling the boxes up with different materials. Have your pets play in a wind blown tent! Have a little fan and place it in a table. Ensure it is out of your ferret’s reach to avoid accidents. Tie a big blanket over the fan and table, imitating a tent. Place heavy books on the corner to make it secure. Switch on the fan and let your ferrets have some fun in their wind blown tent.

Your pet ferret, especially if you have got a kit will enjoy on this next toy. Plat cotton firmly or have nylon rope dog toys which are of medium sized be bitten by your pets. By doing this, your ferret is enjoying and having its teeth cleaned at the same time.

Tie toys or anything that you suspect will catch your pet’s attention and tie it on a long piece of rope or a string. Run round the house and watch your ferret chase you. Your ferret won’t just enjoy, you are also getting useful exercise.
